DESCRIPTION :
Day 1: From Fes to Chefchaouen Tour
The tour will begin early at 8:30, picking you up from the hotel.
Your tour will start at 10:00, and the car will drive you to
Meknes,where five monuments will be waiting for you:
- The ancient walls and vast gates, dating back to the XVII century.
- Other landmarks like Africa Bab Mansour, Bab Khemis, and El Heri es-Souan.
- Granaries and stables built by Moulay Ismail.
- Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, which was once a mosque open to non-Muslims.
- Place-El-Hedim, a fantastic structure with a fascinating story.
Lunch will be served at 12:30 in a local restaurant in Meknes.
After lunch, at 13:30, you’ll head to your next stop: the holy Islamic town of
Moulay Idriss. Although the town is open only to Muslims, visitors can enjoy a walk through its hallways and a panoramic view of its green-tiled pyramids and clean alleyways.
At 15:00, you’ll visit
Volubilis, stunning Roman ruins in North Africa. Explore the Arch of Caracalla, Basilica, and Capitoline Temple as you immerse yourself in Roman history.
Between 17:00 and 18:00, you’ll be transferred to
Chefchaouen to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Chefchaouen Day Tour and Transfer
On the second day, you’ll spend the morning exploring
Chefchaouen, a charming blue-painted town. Stroll through its narrow alleys, explore local shops with woollen goods, blankets, and woven rugs, or relax in its plaza filled with restaurants and cafes.
After lunch at 14:00, you’ll meet the tour vehicle for your return to Fes or any other destination, including Moroccan airports such as
Agadir Almassira-Airport,
Casablanca Mohamed V-Airport, or
Fez Sais-Airport. This marks the end of your tour.
